Executive Committee
Dr. Frank Schlottmann
As CEO of msg for banking ag, Dr Frank Schlottmann is responsible for the market units Digital Transformation, SAP, International Markets and the internal divisions Strategy, Finance, Controlling & Compliance and Corporate Communications.
Dr Schlottmann had been with Gillardon financial software GmbH since 1994 and remained with the company even after it was renamed msgGillardon AG until 2012. After four years as managing director of a banking consulting firm in a globally represented MDAX group, the doctor of economics and long-time AI lecturer at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology returned to msgGillardon AG in 2016 as CEO for banking consulting and products. Since 1 October 2019, he has been CEO of what is now msg for banking ag and, since 1 January 2021, he has also been a member of the Executive Board of the parent company msg systems ag.
Michael Harkort
As a member of the Executive Board of msg for banking ag, Michael Harkort is responsible for IT Consulting and Artificial Intelligence, as well as for the internal departments of Operations & Security, Quality & Processes, Human Resources and Shoring.
Before joining msgGillardon in 2018, the computer scientist gained extensive experience in IT transformation and the development of business-critical IT systems at a global consulting firm and a technology consultancy. From 2014 to 2017, he was a division manager in the public sector at msg systems ag. Since joining msgGillardon AG, he has headed the automotive banks and building societies divisions and the standard software bank management division, and has been a member of the executive board of what is now msg for banking since 1 January 2021.
Andreas Mach
Andreas Mach is a member of the Executive Board of msg for banking ag, where he is responsible for sales and marketing. He is also in charge of the management and business consulting divisions.
A banker and graduate economist, he worked as a consultant and in various management positions at msg systems ag and the former msgGillardon AG from 2006 to 2014. After five years in a management position at a consulting firm and a large German building society and its associated financial conglomerate group, Mach returned to msg for banking ag (formerly msg GillardonBSM AG) in 2019 as Head of Business Consulting & Lead Executive Partner. In addition, he was Managing Partner of impavidi GmbH until the merger with msg for banking in 2022.
Since 1 January 2025, the expert in strategy, transformation, bank management, risk management, compliance, reporting and supervisory law, as well as digitalisation, data analytics and artificial intelligence, has been a member of the Executive Board of msg for banking ag.
Andreas von Heymann
Andreas von Heymann is responsible for the Software Products division as a member of the Executive Board of msg for banking ag. In addition, as Digital Officer for the banking sector, he drives forward the development of digital business models.
From 2000 to early 2018, the graduate in business mathematics held various roles and positions in the areas of software development, product management and business consulting at the former GILLARDON AG financial software (now msg for banking ag), continuously in management positions since 2006, most recently as Executive Partner.
After a brief stint at an established German software and consulting company, he returned to msg for banking at the end of 2018 as Head of the MARZIPAN Software Product Line. Since January 2024, he has also been responsible for msg for banking's SaaS offering as Digital Officer.
